When: Saturday, May 19 8am-2pm What to Expect: Mid-Columbia Rotaract Club has taken on a project that includes framing and / or moving dirt on the habitat new construction. Please register on VolunteerUP, by clicking here. This helps Habitat to manage volunteers, record volunteer hours, and plan the work-sites. The minimum age is 16, and anyone under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent. On the VolunteerUP site you will see the Relase & Liability Waiver that needs to be signed and brought with each volunteer on his/her first day.

Rotaract Conference
Where: Victoria BC When: June 22-24 What to Expect: District 5020 Rotaract Conference in Victoria, BC will include most of the fabulous Rotary presenters, a Rotaract BBQ at Beacon Hill Park, as well as a Rotaract-directed panel discussion about what makes Rotaract Clubs so successful. Registration is free for Rotaract attendees, and this includes all of your meals during the conference - Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday breakfast - and there is complementary Rotaract home-stay accommodation while space is available. So just in case budgeting is an issue, your cost to attend can be as low as the price of return travel to Victoria! (Space is also available at the HI Hostel at $55 for two nights, or at the Fairmont Empress or Hotel Grand Pacific at special Rotary Conference rates).
