MCRC will be meeting at the furniture store in the Richland Parkway at 9:00am on Saturday November 10th for our annual Holiday Tree Lighting service event. Holiday lights will be provided. Please bring a jacket and gloves because it will be a bit chilly out! If you have any questions please email us at [email protected]. This Wednesday at 6pm, MCRC will be meeting at Starbucks on Gage and Leslie in Richland (Albertson's parking lot) and heading out to collect canned foods for 2nd Harvest Food Bank. The home owners have already been informed of the event, and we our job is to simply collect the foods. If you would like to join us, please email us at [email protected] or be at Starbucks by 6pm sharp. We hope to see you there!
Our "Richland Parkway Beautification Project" that was scheduled for this Saturday has been rescheduled for next Spring for optimal new plant availability. Further information will be available early Spring.
On October 13th 2012, Mid-Columbia Rotaract Club will be replacing plants in and around the Parkway shopping center in downtown Richland, one block away from Howard Amon Park and the federal building. All you need to do is bring your own work gloves, and be willing to dig in. All of the plants and other equipment needed will be provided. There will be up to two shifts. The first shift will be from 8 to 11 AM and the second will be from 11 to 2 PM at the latest. Please email us at [email protected] or visit us at www.facebook.com/mcrotaract to sign up to volunteer. MCRC has a volunteer opportunity available! We have been asked to help with the Biergarten this this years Sausage Festival. Dates are August 22nd and 23rd.
