 MCRC will be meeting at the furniture store in the Richland Parkway at 9:00am on Saturday November 10th for our annual Holiday Tree Lighting service event. Holiday lights will be provided. This Wednesday at 6pm, MCRC will be meeting at Starbucks on Gage and Leslie in Richland (Albertson's parking lot) and heading out to collect canned foods for 2nd Harvest Food Bank. The home owners have already been informed of the event, and we our job is to simply collect the foods. If you would like to join us, please email us at [email protected] or be at Starbucks by 6pm sharp. We hope to see you there!

MCRC is looking for volunteers to help with Rotary's Elephant Ear Booth at the Benton-Franklin County Fair. The 6:30am-10:00am Saturday morning shift is filled. If you are considering signing up for a shift, the two most critical shifts are 10:00am-1pm Saturday and Sunday. Please contact David Hjerpe at [email protected] or 509.460.8301 as to when you can volunteer.
The Mid-Columbia Rotaract Club is committed to serving at the 2012 Water Follies the weekend of July 28th and July 29th. Our task is to show people where to park their vehicles in the special parking area West of Columbia Park from 7:30 am - 4:00pm on Saturday and 6:30am-4:00pm on Sunday. Each volunteer will receive a 3-day general event Cold Pit Pass ticket (value $50). We will also be giving out parking passes (we have a limited amount, so please plan to carpool). There will also be food for you after your shift. This is a great deal for you as a volunteer! Feel free to invite a friend, spouse, or co-worker to work with you. The shift times are:

Where: Victoria BC When: June 22-24 What to Expect: District 5020 Rotaract Conference in Victoria, BC will include most of the fabulous Rotary presenters, a Rotaract BBQ at Beacon Hill Park, as well as a Rotaract-directed panel discussion about what makes Rotaract Clubs so successful. Registration is free for Rotaract attendees, and this includes all of your meals during the conference - Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday breakfast - and there is complementary Rotaract home-stay accommodation while space is available. So just in case budgeting is an issue, your cost to attend can be as low as the price of return travel to Victoria!
